Managing Director of CyanSYS Pte Ltd, Tan Theng Wee awarded ‘The Alumni Service to SP Award’ by Singapore Polytechnic

Singapore Polytechnic launched ‘The Alumni Service to SP Award’ in conjunction with their 60th Anniversary. This award is to recognize and appreciate the Alumni of Singapore Polytechnic who have one way or another contributed significantly to Singapore Polytechnic’s areas of technology, learning, development, innovation, philanthropy and other activities that create significant benefits to SP Students and the progression of SP’s vision.

It is also a celebration for the pool of accomplished alumni who are the nation builders, industry captains, scientists, creative talents and successful entrepreneurs that have given their valuable time, expertise, commitment, and other resources that make a positive and enduring impact to the students’ learning, development and not forgetting the progression of SP.

CyanSYS Pte Ltd Managing Director, Tan Theng Wee was among the recipients of ‘The Alumni Service to SP Award’ during the Grand Alumni Homecoming Dinner held on 27th September 2014. Mr Tan, who is an alumni in Singapore Polytechnic, School of Digital Media and Infocomm Technology graduated in 1986 with a Diploma in Programming and System Analysis. He provided internship, employment and scholarship opportunities to students in Singapore Polytechnic  and also created a SP’s partnership with Microsoft to support the development and delivery of the Enterprise System curriculum that benefitted many students employability in the job market.
