Agreement supports CyanSYS to introduce advanced analytics and supply chain management software to Singapore

Singapore, December 8th 2014 – Supply chain specialist and Microsoft Gold Certified ISV Partner AGR have announced partnership agreement with CyanSYS in Singapore. The partnership grants CyanSYS status of preferred implementation partner in Southeast Asia which supports their continued marketing and selling of AGR’s analytics and supply chain software solutions in the region. The collaboration between the two companies extends AGR’s international presence and supports the organisation’s growth plans in the region.

CyanSYS, a Microsoft partner and LS Retail business partner, originally turned to AGR in 2012 to participate in a unique Call-for-Collaboration (CFC) project with Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), a government body in Singapore set up with the primary objective of developing information technology and telecommunications to increase business productivity and commercial competitiveness. IDA has been an integral part of the business development between the two companies with strong support to the initiative of introducing advanced analytical software to the market. AGR and CyanSYS initially worked together on their first customer project for Singapore based electronics retailer Best Denki.  Since then, CyanSYS has built thorough knowledge of AGR’s product portfolio and engaged in development initiatives such as the supplier portal, an extension of the AGR platform.

Haukur Hannesson, Managing Director of AGR commented, “The partnership with CyanSYS marks the next important stage in our business relationship.  CyanSYS is now in the ideal position to share its expertise and experience of AGR and bring tangible benefits to retailers and wholesalers looking for an integrated solution that effectively manages their supply chain from end-to-end.  We look forward to a mutually beneficial arrangement that also supports our own international growth plans.”

AGR will continue to provide ongoing training and support to CyanSYS who, in turn, will market, sell and implement AGR’s software solutions. The collaboration extends to AGR introducing its supply chain Academy to the region which has recently been developed with the University of Reykjavik. The courses are specially developed to ensure that best practice processes are utilized in the field of supply chain management.

Theng Wee, Managing Director of CyanSYS added, “Our partnership with AGR continues to be strong and this latest development reflects the growing demand for business analytics supply chain software solutions in our region. We are confident that AGR’s commitment to continual product innovation will deliver the excellent levels of solution flexibility and reliability our customers expect.”

Using AGR, organisations can confidently and more easily manage the growing complexity of their complete supply chain environment whilst releasing a series of significant analytical and operational benefits.  AGR’s inventory management system provides organisations with statistical forecasts and more accurate replenishment processes, helping to better manage stock levels to support critical supply chains to customers.  When integrated with ERP systems, companies can manage fluctuating stock levels across global business operations on a daily basis to meet customer demands by more accurately managing purchase orders and collaborating with vendors through the supplier portal that was mutually developed by the two companies.  AGR’s technology increases staff productivity, sales confidence and improves stock management.
